Default dvd decrypter

Can anybody recomend me a free dvd decrypter so I can easily copy my dvds onto my laptop.
I have, at the moment, dvd fab but for some reason it has started copying without the main audio.
I aren't after anything too fancy. I just want to copy the film from dvd to laptop.

Anydvd is one i remember.

There was also software which was made to use the original dvd decrypter not supported since 2005. I forgot its name though, that was free. Edit: Named ripit4me, dont think its suported now either. Its been so long since ive ripped anything.

AnyDVD, but its not free you've got to pay for a registration key

Clone DVD mobile is the same but you can rip to DVIX format6. Again not free.

Plus the free lifetime updates goes on the 1st Jan, after that you'll have to pay for updates annually

Interestingly, 3 DVDs I had for Xmas have a digital copy feature, which I hadn't seen before, so it makes it easy for you to watch a copy on your iPod or laptop etc

No AnyDVD is free to use for the first 21 days after that you'll need to pay for it, as it won't work. Hence the need for a key.

You suggested it, but didn't point out its not free
