Default Blackberry problem

I'm not receiving texts on my new blackberry bold 9780.

I've had it since friday and it was fine until 3pm today. Anybody any ideas?

Reckon it could well be the service provider. Not uncommon for their services to be down without warning. I've heard people from all networks complaining about similar issues that resolve themselves after a few hours.

Try aa hard reset for good measure - take the battery out (while it's still on) for 15 mins.

Otherwise, dunno!

I've taken battery outfor 5 minutes and put back in.
I can receive calls, and I can use bbm/emails/facebook I just can't receive texts (but I can send)

Apparently a friend had a siimilar problem a while but they don't know how they fixed it.

Oh Dave.

Try re-registering the host routing tables (options-Advanced iirc).

Also try disabling the firewall if it has one built in, I know some do.
