2002 sv650s tipped over in driveway, now wont prime or start? - SV650.org

after a good ride about 1 hour..on the way back into the driveway my friend locked up the front in the wet grass and softly he layed over the bike on the kick side..the bike was running, i jumped off my gsxr and hit his kill switch..we picked it up, let it sit for about an hour and went outside to start it just too see if its ok..everything turns on, lights signals, ect ect..ive checked over all the wiring..clutch, ignition, kick, went over it all even charged the battery a lil bit to see if that would help..nothing everything turns on but no prime and nothing when you hit the starter button..we tried to b ump start it, i got a 2 second light rev from it but it turned back off, we ran out of energy tring to bump it..is it flooded, is there a tos? ive checked it all..the bike has nothing broken on it and it has 9000 miles...2002 sv650s

Did you reset the kill switch?

like just flip it on and off a few times?? or is there more to it?

It's not in gear with the kick stand down is it?

i have done it all..its in neut..ive even rolled it and went through a few gears then back to neut..checked all the wiring, checked everything its all where it was..nothing broke..the bike layed on him, so it acually never really touched the ground....im stumped..some other guy said it could be flooded and thats why..??please help!!

Could be flooded, not sure if yours would have a 'tip over' sensor.

It might be near the battery box.

I own a Gladius so can't help with locating it if there is one.

ya..dont think there is a tos on this year i think its all after k2 so the k3's and up..
