Default Scottoiler SV650s K4

Afternoon guy's

I used to have a V system fitted to my old SV650 (99) and I managed to mount the RMV (Oil holder with adjuster) onto the back of the rear cylinder head.

It was weird as there was a perfect treaded hole for one of the brackets to just screw into.

Main question is does anyone have an ideal location for the RMV on a K4 pointy? Easy access, no drilling holes etc?

Cheers,

Rob

Lozzo did a really neat install on his pointy. See the pics here http://forums.sv650.org/showpost.php...1&postcount=32

I fitted one under the pillion seat on a pointy, tucked down low under the bit between the rider seat and pillion seat on RHS. Not sure but there may be room to put it under the rear bodywork, mounted to the outside of the sub-frame. This could make filling and adjusting tricky, this was the reason I didn't bother.

Ended up popping it under the pillion seat. I've managed to wedge it inbetween the helmet holder/luggage hook on the right hand side and part of the subframe. It's almost vertical and nice and sturdy.

Vacuum pipe took the usual route under the hinge for the fuel tank and the oil feed pops out from behind the fairing secured to the back of the tool box/battery box then through the swing arm next to the shock.
