RIP Mr Biker

It is a bit iffy coming towards Bolton but TBH the 30 limit ends after the bend/hill.

The limit changes from 30 to 50 at the end of the car park of the restaurant at the site of the collision.

Ed,

No, it's just on Lancs area. One of our lads covered the closures from the GMP side.

Glad I didn't really, I know the road very, very well.

R.I.P. and I hope the other rider involved makes a full recovery.

Must have been the day for it as there was another fatal accident more local to me in Southport. R.I.P.

Indeed RIP.

One of my mates lost his left arm at his shoulder riding his blade on Belmont Road (between Abbey village and Belmont) when a woman he was passing (she stationary in the middle of the road, indicating right) changed her mind and pulled back to the left catapulting him and his blade into the trees.

It can be a dangerous road when people don't pay attention.
