Default Sistine Chapel

Apologies if you've all seen this before, but it's new to me and I felt like sharing.

These 360 view things are great aren't they!!
I first saw one from someone who does Urban Exploring abroad, most excellent viewing IMO

How can we be certain that Michelangelo was gay?

Because if he'd been straight, he'd have painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in white, with a roller

Seriously, that's awesome.

Was there last June. Its stunning but there are many other rooms that are better but they weren't painted by anyone famous (or gay)

Awesome. It's fantastic. But TBH I can't cope with the beauty of holiness.

There's a lovely Primitive Methodist chapel not far from where I live, in a tiny spot called Stanwardine in north Shropshire, between here and Ellesmere. It's one of Shropshire's hidden gems. It has a clay brick tablet on the outside with the verse:

'Come in thou blessed of the Lord,
Wherefore standest thou without?'

...and its simplicity does far more for me that the Sistine Chapel, beautiful as it is.
