Clamps when fitting scorpion exhausts?

Just bought a 2nd hand Scorpion Street Extreme, seller forgot to include the clamp I think that was apparently included, so may have to delay fitting it till I get it. But I have the end can and the link pipe, hanger, and a "spring clamp", obviously there should be a clamp that fits around the link pipe and tightens down to join the link pipe to the original header. Is that correct?

And then, my questions are, what joins the end can to the link pipe? And what is the 'spring clamp' for (the ~3cm spring type thing), or is that what connects the can and the link pipe?
