Hi all,
I fancy tinkering with my naked curvy some more.... I have a small front bolt on fairing with the big single light. I'm getting a bit tired of the look to be honest and fancy a change. I've considered the dominator lights. Ive found a nice black set on eBay for about 45 notes. I've read plenty off mixed reviews on brightness and spread pattern. I don't tend to do much night riding but i do occasionally. Philips do an 80% brighter bulb which my mate put in his BMW and he says it makes a world of difference. Will it make enough...i don't know. Soo i am considering the dominators with different bulbs. Comments? What about other lights that people have tried? recommend? I want a good set of lights which are different but i dont want to ride blind!!Or spend and absolute fortune!! Help and constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated. Lynx |

Oh they look nice. Pricey but if there good they are worth it! Shame they are chrome and not black but i guess easily sprayed. But for 130 notes i wouldn't want to faf around.

If it's something different you're after look at some of the lights on scooters. The headlight from a Gilera DNA looks good and so do a few others.

Thats a really good idea toxic. Any hints on which scooters? I dont pay attention to them so i dont know which ones look like what or whats on the market. I looked at the DNA and thats quite cool. I guess id have to look out for something semi mountable...

My fave light unit, purely from a cosmetic point of view is the pyramid Mantis.
They're 200 notes, so a bit pricey. ![]() |

There is this...http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/KTM-Headlight-...0#ht_500wt_715
Repaint that, make a bracket and fit some projector beams. Projector beams can be had from Busters for £20 each BTW. Or Spend £50 and get a pair of angel eye projectors if you want the bling. |

The only thing I can add really is that projector lights usually need a decent bulb, the philips +80's mentioned by the OP would be ideal and have come down in price since the +100 Vision's came out.

Cool. I like the KTM duke cowl good spot!!. If i got the cowl i presume i would need two projectors one high and one low beam. Would they fit ok i.e the diameter of the projector and the diameter of the cowl? Or is it just a given?
Also are projectors any good? |
