Has anyone used this website to sell their bike?
I have just used the instant qoute service for a qoute on my bike and it came back with an offer of £3058 cash with collection within 48hrs. I have my bike up for sale at £3500 privately with a few extras which I could take off and sell for more than the difference, so I'm incredibly tempted. Anyone got any horror stories or good stories about them? Thanks

they wont give you the price they quote, they ill find something wrong with it, I read online about somebody taking a brand new audi down to webuyanycar and they said the car had been resprayed so they wanted 4k off.
Loads of similar reviews online |

I used webuyanycar.com to get a quote on my car and they offered 1/3rd of the value... which is how they make their money. I'd presume its similar with the bikes.
I'd take that to mean you have your bike up for sale too cheaply ![]() C Last edited by Berlin; 14-10-10 at 07:24 AM. |

I've heard lots of people moaning about crap valuations, but I have also heard rumors of lots of people saying the accepted the offer and they came and collected within 24hrs with no problems at all. I've never heard anything from the horse mouth other than valuations they are not happy with, which I have not really had. Quote:
It is up cheaply because winter is coming and I want a really quick sale as I have my eye on two bikes for sale elsewhere. The trade in value for my bikes age and condition is £4400 on Parkers Guide for good condition, not excelent which is what I would class mine as. Part Ex price is listed as £3750 but I can't find a dealer that has the bike I want. The bikes always seem to be on a sale or return agreement so the dealers don't technically own them.

So they are offering you about £1400 less than the bike is worth? Nor a good deal really.
You'd get a better deal than that just putting it on Ebay and it'd be sold within the week. Which bike is it? C |

I sold a pickup truck for £1000 MORE than I bought it for to WBAC.com, they only took off for two small dints I had failed to mention on the online quote, I watched him add them on and it was no different to me doing it online.
I cannot recommend them high enough in my limited experience, this was the Colchester Branch. |

It's that trade off between the hassle and nominal amount of money. I have priced it pretty much as the cheapest bikes on biketrader, you can buy a low mile 2003 cbr600rr for around £3000 - £3500. 2006 bikes are mainly listed at around £4500+. I know its not showroom condition, it has 9500 miles on the clock, but it is in good condition. Quote:
