Engine problem? - SV650.org

Recently when starting my curvy, the engine fires and then turns over relatively slowly and then gradually the rpms increase?

Once the bikes been running a miniute or so it's fine.

Anything to worry about?

hows the maintainence/service history? - have you done anything to it recently?

I use full choke on start up then down to half after 10-20 secs, then i leave it at half for the first mile of my journey then off. Never have any trouble

Ahh, I'm obviously not leaving it on long enough and need to open the choke more on start up.

K3 Job c.v: Engine:remove/split/rebuild/refit. Replace:Gearbox,Fuel pump,Gaskets. Piston clean,rings. Overhaul:Throttle body,Injectors,Brakes,Forks. Remove/refit:Exhaust,Radiator,Oil cooler,Throttle,Air filter,Tank. Replace: Oil,Coolant,grease,brake hoses & bleed.
