Old school fast car
Got rid of mine for a 405 mi16 4x4. Still miss it to this day  Good luck with the hunt, getting a bit rare these days. |

I had a 306 GTi-6 (very similar to the Rallye) and not quite the same in the fun stakes as a 309, but undoubtedly quicker at the top end.

many years ago i swapped a renault 5 turbo for one (in red) the remote rear windows was well cool (operated by a cable!) then swapped the 309 for a xr3i ($hit car!!) went through a few more till i got the ultimate... an rs escort cosworth...god i miss that car!! Then went old skool fords-mk2 escort rally rep slagggg- that was good fun- but not the most reliable of cars.Still miss the 309 though, it's what i had when i met the missus (used to scare her to death in it!)
