I have contracted it too. Moaned all afternoon at work and I know I'll feel worse tonight. I joined the gym at lunch but ended up putting it off tonight.

I was always told that the true test of flu was that if someone dropped a £50 notes (adjusted for age and inflation) beside your bed (note, bed. If you had flu that's where you'd be) then you wouldn't be able or inclined to get up and pick it up.

Anything less than this is a touch of a cold or food poisoning!

Well I have been in bed, just come down to cook something bland to eat (plain rice) as I am staving but my throat hurts too much for any hard food.

A £50 note however...
