This is my Dec 1998 Honda Fireblade CBR900RR-W.
The bike's in Brighton, south coast. It’s a beautiful, fast and reliable machine with very low mileage for the year of just under 18000. I bought it after selling two of my bikes, however due to a recurrent back problem I’m having trouble riding it. I’ve therefore decided to sell it. Just to be clear, I really don’t want to sell but it’s just not practical for me under these circumstances. Here are the details: 4 owners from new, including me. It’s a local bike with a known history and has always been garaged from new. It’s a weekend toy and as such doesn’t get used much, hence the low miles. There’s an MOT until May 2012 and road tax until the end of September 2011. It has been looked after by local garages and the last service was at 17210 miles and was a full one that cost £331.71. Receipt to prove. I have a full service history from the beginning with services at 523, 4851, 8014, 11260, 12364, 15718 and 17210 miles with the service book stamped and receipts to prove. There are MOTs dating back to 2003 to prove the mileage. I have the V5C in my name and all other paperwork present and correct in the dealers wallet. I also have the original owner’s manual and the original toolkit is under the seat. I have all the keys (2 sets). I have also HPI checked it prior to sale to show that it is an honest bike. I have the certificate present. The bike also has the following extras: Datatag. Rear hugger. Full red anodised stainless bolt set. Powerbronze mirrored iridium screen. Micron carbon end can with stainless downpipes (road legal). It sounds fantastic. Recent Pirelli tyres, gold chain and sprocket. Part polished frame and wheels with polished rims. Tank protector pad. Halogen headlight bulbs. All in all this is a superb machine which is totally reliable, quick and good looking. It’s the iconic superbike built to a high Honda standard. I would be happy to ride this across Europe (were my back to allow!) If you’d like to have a look please feel free to come and do so. If you want a test ride I would need to see your license, insurance and you would need to leave me the full cost of the bike in cash. Contact via the forum or call 07980 676698 and talk to Gary. I'm looking for £2100 or a sensible offer. |
