Unhappy Seat Cowl bracket

Hi all,

I've got a pillion seat cowl on my 07 pointy which is held on by the rear grab rail, now I want to lose the grab rail and fit the replacement bracket with fairing gap covers either side cowl for a flush look. However I cannot find the bloody bracket and covers anywhere?! I've called a suzuki parts dealer they have cant find the part anyway only the cowl itself and I cant find one on ebay . Does anyone here either have one for sale or know where I can buy one from?

Any help greatly appreciated as I reaaaaaly want to get rid of the grab rail.

Here is a pic of the bracket and covers incase ur not sure what i'm on about...

Default Re: Seat Cowl bracket

i have one mate,
originally in grey, then i sprayed it black to match my bike.

The finish isnt brilliant on it though as i bought a colour matched seat cowl that came with one not long after i bought the infill plates/bracket so i gave up on sorting out the finish of it.
Its colour matched black, for an 08, cosmic black i think its called.
But i hadnt gotten around to smothing it down with fine sand paper and then laquering it/a final coat if needed.

But with that all said, its pretty much unnoticable when on the bike.

i can get some pics if you interested in buying it.

I had the same problem as you and paid like £25 for it off a member on here!

also, this should have probably been in the wanted section, lol.

Mine has two spacers that fill the space left by the grabrail. You need these as part of it.
