What sort of MPG are you getting on your SV? - With rising fuel prices, MPG has suddenly become quite important to me. Im getting around 45-50mpg (but thats me being careful most of the time with fuel consumptions)
I realise that being easy with the throttle helps a lot, but would replacing standard spark plugs with platinum ones and a new air filter help? Or any other suggestions/modifications to improve SV mpg. cheers G ![]() Last edited by Gregga; 15-06-11 at 06:29 PM. |

My commute puts it down to around 50, lots of hills and "fun" country roads make me arrive at work with a silly grin, of course there is a motorway/A road option, I find the car more suitable for that though.

No idea... just know I get around 180 max from a brimmed tank. Although that's gone down recently and the bike vibrates quite a lot when revved, even when stationery. So maybe something's not right.
