Good vid
![]() What happened @2.33 ? Was it supposed to be a right turn but had a run off ? They could have cleaned the huge gravel off the roads or is that part of the attraction ? I wouldn't have wanted to ride sections of those roads on anything but my DRZ. |

The bit at 2.33 is where they put in a tyre chicane to slow everybody down as they come into the village before making you turn right at the junction 150m further on. If they didn't have that there is a risk of people missing their braking point from 100mph + and going into the houses. The bikes can virtually straight line it, the cars obviously can't!
The cars are also why there is so much gravel everywhere, they have a habit of hooking the corners. If you want to see proper gravel on fast bends watch the stage 1 video! The gravel helps keep the event interesting, otherwise you could just turn up on a big sports bike and clean up. |
