Default Bike to bike/passenger communication?

Hello,

Does anyone have any knowledge of communication products in order to talk to a pillion or another bike.

Not looking for anything too long distance, mainly for pillion use.

If so could you link what you use?

Thanks Murph

(Wasnt suure which foruum this would be classed as)

Have these myself

http://midland-uk.com/midland-bt2-in...-twin-set.html

but don't pay that much, shop around or see if you can come across a set on eBay. Think I paid £150 for mine

Links to my sat-nav, can make/receive calls when paired with the sat-nav, can listen to music and can still hear the missus even at 80.....unfortunately

Have used one for the past 10 years, don't **** about with a cheap one, you will only regret it.

Works with satnav, ipod, phone - no problem hearing it with earplugs in, even at silly speeds

Yeah Autocom is the way to go, i have the logic, and at the weekend sorted it all out as the mrs has a new helmet and was complaining that she couldn't hear me, music was working ok though, it was only because the ear pieces have to be pretty precisely placed to get the best results, but once you have them sorted then they work perfectly.

Sorry going to have to stand up for the cheap ass ones, i have one and its been flawless paid £60 and its bang on and not missed a beat, does what i says on the tin!

Connects to my phones, sat nav, play music, takes calls, and chat to one another. Charge lasts forever well at least 2 good rides or a fair few small ones, works in the rain, clear phone calls at up to 100mph ish..

Couldnt ask for more for the money i paid!

I'm going to put my hand up and say Autocom again. For rider/pillion comms it is almost perfect, the only downside is it needs the headsets to be properly located.

For bike to bike, Autocom is peerless when twinned with one of their recommended transceivers. I used one on a trip to Europe and the other unit was a cheaper system bought from Maplin, the transmission side failed at the first sight of rain and the receive side worked poorly / intermittently until it failed a few days later.

IMO in this market, you get what you pay for.

Does anyone know if you can egt those bt ones that will connect several ones together. I know some folks that have them but they are all different makes. It would be nice if you could all have a chat between them?
