Default Anyone fell off?

I was in a closed carpark away from everyone..not even a car was parked...so wasn't totally being a ****!!!
Was practising wheelies was getting good at it (done it for weeks)...then in mid wheelie seen people looking over the wall and I shat it and fell off at about 15-20mph.
Needs left fairing painted again (I respray'd the whole bike so not much trouble) new indicator, black screen, gear selector...not too bad I thought....just a bit annoyed my Shoei leathers are scuffed up. Is there any leather repair stuff you can buy that is decent?
Has anyone else got stories?

Might be a bit of a ponsy way, but would save you a lot of money in the long run and hurt your pride a lot less I'd imagine!!

I would imagine dropping your bike while practicing wheelies and similar stuff is quite normal and part of the learning experience. People drop the bikes for far less.

Got a great drive out of the final corner of Donnington last Thursday. Managed to hook up 5th gear down the start/finish straight where I had only been getting 4th. Arrived at the first corner and braked in usual spot.....forgot that I was now carrying an extra 20mph. I ended up some distance into the gravel trap feeling a bit foolish. Was last lap or last session too. This is why I normally never ride in the final session, as some dunce always thinks he can go faster than his ability!!

1.) i fell over outside my GF house while trying to stand on a dipped drive way

2.) fell over on an sv650 ride while trying to turn around by putting foot into what i thought was a shallow puddle

3.) dropped bike after 2 hours of cleaning it and shattered screen and mirror.

4.) dropped bike in my car parking space which i used to save space for car.

5.) dropped bike outside house on curb.

6.) dropped bike moving it on ice.

7.) dropped bike onto GF when i thought she had hold of it

all these drops are done standing still (0 mph) i am short, small, skinny and above all useless.

whats your excuse?

that's a good list
excuse: inexperience, paniced on a corner and grabbed brakes (bike sat upright then went straight on into a on coming car). i should have counter steered to drop the bike further into the lean to make the corner... (which would have worked fine, as i wasn't too quick)
