Reinstate or Street Fighter or Better (I'm Back!)

Evening All!

Well it has been a while since I have got involved on the forums etc due to my nasty little off due to some idiot car driver who was obviously blind when he looked left and right (If he even did that is)

Right well my SV650 has arrived back with me today after a long drawn out process of if it will or wont be fixed and then how much they are paying, blah blah.

Right so down to business, I have the bike back and started it up and sounds great still! So put a little smile on my face. It needs a small list of parts which isn't too bad to be honest but now my next decision is the following:

- Build/Fix it back to its before accident state?
- Have some fun and street-fighter it?
- Do something else? All ideas welcome...

Plus my next thing is, it is going to be a Cat-D so once I have repaired it, do I need to reMOT it or do anything like that?

I would love to see some pictures of other peoples bikes that I may have missed.

And Lastly!! I've reached the 1000 posts mark! but missed the celebration and have only just noticed.

The Cat-D (as mine is) will affect resale price - so might as well do with it what you want.

I got another bike as thanks to the GAP I got a complete payout (which paid it off) so had plenty of time to tinker with and gather bits.

Do a Supermoto!!

Its a perfect candidate. Was the front end totalled?

We repaired a mates and motd it to get it back on the road.

Make it into a themed Post apocalyptic survival bike, mean and nasty looking, but not a rat. Make it a bike the hooligans from Mad Max would ride.

Something like this could be fun!
