Jack up kit instructions?

Hi all,

Does anyone have installation instructions for fitting a jack up kit to my K4 sv.

Starting to get my hands dirty and thought this might be a good diy addition however I don't have any instructions and don't want to mess it up

Any help would be really appreciated

Does the kit comprise of the two suspension links, commonly called 'dog bones' dues to their visual similarity to a bone?

If yes, then remove the bolts securing the original links, then fit the new ones in their place and refit the bolts.

You'll need to support the bike from the frame*, (rather than the swinging arm obviously), as the suspension will not be connected to the swinging arm when the links are removed. An alternative is to hang the bike from a garage roof beam or similar structure using ratchet straps or rope - be careful if doing this and make sure it's perfectly secure before you start removing anything. Whichever method you use it's often easier to loosen the nuts while the bike is still on its wheels as it will be more stable, same goes for the final tightening.
