Im quite far off yet, i need to find a club, im guessing bemsee is a good call, i live in the South East, near Surrey. I hunting down a bike and getting a van so i can do away with this trailer, im hoping i can get out to an EU trackday soon on an SV to test and get familiar with the machine, Does anybody know anything they wished somebody would of told them before starting out?!

i racing with bemsee in rookie 600's, considering minitwins next year. I bought a new bike at begining of the year, and never really go to test it, only half way through the seaosn did i start to feel comfortable on it..... so doing a EU trackday is a great idea.....

the reason i didnt... cash !! Budge budget budget... its expensive, and ive done things on a limited budget and still 7k down.... so be prepared...

Most clubs that are affiliated to the Minitwins
Bemsee are the biggest. North Glous also run a big grid
The NEMCRC, Melville and KDMC/ Knockhill all run minitwin or classes that include it.

Auto 66 don't run a minitwin class, they run them in with supertwins/ manx spec bikes

Hey hi
Just found my way here and registered. Was going to start a thread but didnt need to. My cus Tom and I are planning entering MiniTwins next year too - in support of "The Bike Experience" TBE. We both wanted to do it anyways but racing as Team TBE wil be excellent, helping promote the charity and getting the name out there. We'll also be trying to raise money as we go !! The planning is in its early stages but v v excited !!

Bemsee also run Thunderbikes in which you can run a tuned or modified SV650. You can run one stock but with a GSXR front end or mod away until your hearts content. My hubby Steve won it last year on a 700cc SV and my friend Irie runs a 750cc SV in the class modded enough to cause a major world debt crisis!.

If your in Surrey pop by the shop at some point for a cuppa and will answer as many questions as you can throw at me!!

I will hold you to that hehe! will pop in soon, i think i would like to get a dyno run at some point later on this year too. i shall be in touch thanks for the info

i got out on saturday for a run around Pembrey, we had some fantastic weather! It took some work adjusting form the gsxrs to the SV, by the end of the day we were cooking with gas! its quite satisfying getting past some of the bigger boys on a bike with a 3rd of the horse power!
