Default Advice for husbands

Don't buy your mrs a Dyson as a present on your anniversary day.

hahahaaaaa. you silly silly man you. rule number 1 is never buy household items as gifts for women especially on your anniversary and if you have the misfortune of doing so at the wrong time of month then you deserve all you get

that's like giving someone a bar of soap as a present.

Household appliances never work as gifts. Even though, obviously, she should be pleased that you remembered your anniversary at all!

A mate of mine bought his missus a ironing board for a anniversary present. He genuinely thought this would be the ideal present as the old she used looked worn and tired...what a donut...he learnt his lesson after that.

It would be the perfect present if it came with a guarantee that she is never expected to use it because part 2 of the gift is that you promise to always do the vacuuming.

Mr LPH bought me Tekken 2 for the Playstation for Valentines day one year. Romantic eh?
