Hope he has got a Doners card for when the inevitably happens. At least some good might come out of it, as long as he doesn't take some innocent punter with him.

Excessive sentencing, in my view, but the excerpts on the BBC news article just show idiocy of the highest order.

Would it still be if someone would die in the process, how about someone close to you? 150mph on the road WILL kill someone eventually, regardless of how skilled the rider is. This particular one was pretty lame, overtaking on pavements and the wheelies looked more like lack of control than skill.

When people have been killed through dangerous driving, the drivers very rarely get a year jail sentence and a 5 year ban...

From the CPS: R v Underwood [2005] 1 Cr App R (S) - £400 fine and 3 and a half years disqualification and until passed extended driving test following G plea - driving car at 137 mph on dual carriageway, observed by police, previous conviction for driving in excess of 100 mph. Similar case on the surface, but no jail term.

That only proves the system sucks and encourages dangerous driving. Just because idiots get away with it easily doesn't mean other idiots should follow the same.

The other sentences were far too mild and if the system starts to change, it can only be good for all of us.
