I'm gonna be buying my first SV next year, but I have no idea which one to go for?? So my question is what are the differences between curvy and pointy SV's?
Is there a big difference in how they feel to ride or the handling and power delivery etc? Decisions decisions ![]() |

Curvies!
Far superior handling, motors are similar.

Go for age and mileage, if you are tall go for the pointy as it's slightly bigger. Best to test ride and see what you like. I tried both, hated the curvey (too cramped) and really like my Pointy (but still on the small side for me). Totally different riding position too.

You can't get a new curvey.
But they are supposed to handle better. Love mine as it looks a bit retro like the TL1000 s

I'd rather have a pointy cos I likes Fi and stuff but think they lost something in the looks dept when they made the pointy. Curvy is a much better looking bike. The pointy looks like Kryten from Red Dwarf!
