I'm after a pair of gloves for Spring, Summer and Autumn. I'm looking for a good feel and good protection (preferably kangaroo leather palms). I can get these Weise Daytona gloves for £58 but my ONLY concern is that there is no wrist protection. I'm concerned about draft going up my sleeves and making my arms cold. There is a version of this glove with longer wrists but for £32 more there's no way I can spend that much on a pair of gloves.
So basically what I'm asking is, has anyone had experience with short gloves? Does it get cold? Or can anyone recommend me some kangaroo leather gloves in the £50-£80 price bracket? Thanks ![]() |

Best try a pair on with your jacket and try to assume your normal riding position. So much depends on the fit of the jacket. I wouldn't risk £60 on a pair of gloves I'd not tried on anyway.

Must admit I would pay the extra for some alpinestars supamoto gloves, mine cost me £90 and I wear mine a lot, had them 2.5 years now, even used them green laning.
I can't remember exact ones but I'll take a look in a bit and edit my post. |

I use short gloves at work all the time. Then again, a BMW has a bit of wind protection!
Try them on first, sit on your bike and so on. Pete ![]() |
