The Pirelli Diablo Strada, and the Metzler Z6 were, indeed reported to be the same tyre with a different tread pattern. Pirelli now have the Angel ST, I believe the Metzler Z6 was replaced by the Z8. There's good news, however, we are currently spoiled for choice with touring tyres that last well over 10,000 miles, with levels of wet and dry grip unimaginable in a road tyre not that long ago.
