yep, even Visit France doesn't recognise it. There's Fruges but that's north of Calais. What part of the south/region?

See me at the 8Ball one night and I will point out the" Ho-chee-min."trail,which is the route I used going to Italy [weekly] which misses out Paris and all the Peage motorway.
Most continental lorry drivers wanting to save money use this route and it is all good national roads.

You can either start from Calais or use the motorway to Peronne and jump on it from there.

Frejus is down south near the Alps-----you have the Frejus tunnel and Mount Blanc tunnel, both to Italy-----[no haz chem on the Mt Blanc so we used Frejus]

If it is the middle of summer go over the top Mt Cennis and down into Susa----follow the route to Mt Blanc but just carry on further up the pass instead of taking Mt Blanc

ahh right ok

I have avoided Paris on an SV by heading out of Calais towards Rouen, then Le Mans and Tours before heading South. I'm sure there would be someone to point you in the other direction around Paris
