Title sais it really, whats the mostmiles youve had out of your sv, i normally get bout 160-165, this is driving to work and back, occasional blast and picking the misses up after work. At weekend i just went on a 2 hour treck down to nottinghamshire, pain in the ****, literally, them seats arent the best, was good fun tho,but i have 180 miles on the trip with no fuel light, just made me wonder thats all

On longer runs i tend to be in a mixed group of bikes that have to stop for fuel before i do, normally around 140 miles or so, so i'd fill up at the same time. Normally i'd be putting in 12 or 13 litres so I'd hope for 160/170 out of a full tank.
I don't wring its neck too often so this may play a part, and a gel seat is on my xmas list too ![]() |

Went over two hundred miles once, but to give you an idea of how long ago it was, it was a hell of a shock that you could fit over £15 in a petrol tank in one go...

Best I ever saw on mine was about 185 until the solid fuel light came on.
I normally get a flashing light at between 150 - 160 miles

yes i normally get a light between 150-170, depends how you drive and how long i leave it to warm up :/ i go to work via a roads then come home on the motorway, bout 15 miles in total, have to fill up every week or so, i also noticed having a pillion really takes it out of your bike, not so much cruising but still

I think it totally depends on how you drive, i just drove from the NEC in birmingham to leeds which i believe is about 116 miles, i was driving at about 85 - to 97 mph constant and after 116 miles i got the first fuel light. I usually ride during the week to work and my speed is about 70 - 80 mph on the motorway then normal 30 on residential roads and i usually get about 140 miles to a full tank. Just shows ya, i have never had over 140 miles to a tank. my bike is a pointy K3

Long motorway stints get the best economy for me, got 70 mpg once as a best. Usually between 160-165 but that's commuting and the odd 40miler trip.

130 to flashing light pretty much guaranteed every single time. Mostly commuting and scratching.

Mine averages 160-170 on a full tank. I know what you mean about the seat though, mine seems to be acting like a hemorrhoid magnet at the moment.
