Hey guys, just a quick question, took the airbox of the sv this morning and noticed that in the crank case breather hoses there was what can only be described to a kind of white sludge, smells a little like petrol. Is this normal? and if so what is it? I could upload a picture if you guys want.

Water and motor oil together make what you describe.

At this time of year it may be nothing more serious than condensation. If the bike runs ok try cleaning up the obvious gunge and then taking it out for a long ride.Getting it properly hot will burn off the moisture and further regular use should keep it from crudding up.
