Default Tyre pressures ( yes again, but might be slightly different)

Ok I've got a pair of sc2 Pirelli supercorsas and just wondered what temps they should be cold for track as well what they should be hot after tyre warmers thank you.

I had those bad boys on a curvy. Ran them best at 30 30. The tyre guy recomended 26 rear 28 front IIRC and i thought it felt weird to went back.

Best thing to do is to set them about 28 - 30 and just test for yourself IMO.

tyres always set hot not cold - this has been covered quite a few times on various threads. In 3 years of minitwin racing we settled at 31F 29 Rear hot with SC1/SC2 combo. At these pressures cold you would risk over pressurising the tyre as it heated further in the warmer meaning greater chance of front tucks or rear high sides.
Any sign of the rear tearing at all the pressure would be dropped down towards 26 psi hot. Michelins go even lower!

Thank you people. Had heard that before to only set when hot. Will try it out next TD.

Happy to help even though have left series for T3 - forget to mention to get those tyre warmers onto the tyres as soon as you return to the pits so they remain warm - it helps to extend the life of the tyre which can be measured in number of heated cycles.
Happy to answer any other minitwin racing related questions where I can.
