I'm thinking of doing my trackbike rather than painting it, mainly because if I paint it myself it'll look like it was done by a blind monkey in the rain with a yard brush and a pot of Hammerite, plus I'm too much of a skinflint to pay someone else to do it.

Wonderful, thanks. I followed some related video links and found a 'how to' series of videos from a professional.
Looks like I'll be doing my own at some point as I've got all the kit required and have some experience of doing similar with leather when trimming complex door panels and inserts. Watching the videos shows it to be very similar in alot of respects. |

Wont this get damaged / ripped once you have shoved in a van a few times to get to track, I know my curvy has a few transport marks after a couple of years of track riding?
