I'm trying to find out the size of the copper washers for the oil cooler pipes and its nigh on impossible to find somewhere that shows the exploded view of the bike. Does anyone have any ideas or even the size of the washers. I was quoted £11 for 8 washers from Suzuki even though i only need 4 max. It would be a lot easier if we had access to their EPC but i suppose they want to keep it from you so they can make a few bob.

It's completely unreasonable that Suzuki don't spend money producing documents very few people will ever read just so you can buy parts from somewhere else.
How dare they! PS. Measure the present ones? Just a thought.

I could measure the banjo or washer (if there is one on the banjo) but i'd rather buy the washers first then fix it seeing as my transport is my bike. I couldn't be arsed stripping it, finding the size then putting it back on and refill with oil etc. Bibio, cheers for that link. Very good to have a nosey about and see what the proper names are. |

Why do you need new ones....If they are just flattened you can Anneal them to restore them...so unless they are really damaged??
Just a thought.. |

![]() It's been about a month since I replaced the pipe and it's now leaking a wee bit at the banjo bolt so either it isn't tight enough (don't think thats the case) it doesn't have any washers It has washers but are gubbed Washers are the cheapest so i'll try them first. Better than annealing them. If that don't fix it then I may have damaged the cooler (assuming there is no washers). And for everyone's benefit, if you do need to get washers for the oil cooler pipes, there are 8 washers required; 2 each for the 4 ends. They are all the same size and the size is 14x20x1.5 |
