Default spray my bike white

ok no I am not gay or wanting to appear to be a police man

I fancy spraying the candy red VFR white?

it has a couple of scratches to the panniers and if I am having them resprayed red why not go whole hog and spray whole bike white with black bits like the "proper real one"... (professionally)

Always wanted a white one as you know ..

but

will it look crap.
will it depreciate the value or affect selling on. ? (planning on keeping it til I too fat to ride anyway )

ta for comments.. funny or otherwise.. Iknow I have opened myself up for ridicule and jest here...

Why dont you sell it a buy a white one, it'll be a lot less hassle IMHO.

I'm always wary of bikes that have been repainted, it makes me wonder what they are hiding / why its been repainted.

The only redeaming feature of getting your bike painted, would be that you could specify a shade of white that only your bike has, so you go metallic, or pearlescent effect in the paint, so it would be unique on that front.

But then theres the ball ache of getting it touched up if you scratch it or it gets damaged in an accident and then needs repainting again.
