Default Questions re biking to Birmingham NEC

I was thinking about riding to the birmingham nec for the gadget show in a couple of weeks.

I have to admit I have never been and wondered if there are things I should consider.

I think parking is free for motorbikes , do they have plenty of space and is it secure?
Not sure where to store stuff and so far have been unable to locate any lockers.
From the m6 toll map I believe I may miss the m6 toll as I expect to turn off onto the m42.

Its going to be a 7am start and 260 mile round trip ..am I bonkers

Failing that will take yea olde cage ..any tips , ideas suggestions gratefully recieved..cheers

Yep, you come off the M6 before the toll

I've done it in a day from Felixstowe in a car.

Parking i secure enough and plenty of space, can't remember if there's anywhere to leave stuff, there might be?

Going in a cage is better, just in case you buy something?

Bike parking is free during the bike show when they put them in a spare hall. Not sure if it is the rest of the time.

Same with kit....there is a facility for this during the bike show but not sure about any other time.
