Default Needed - twisted Fire Starters

My lovely Essex Orgers. We are permitted a fire at the AR this year but don't have any firewood. I would say I'd burn my bras but I already donated the old ones to Oxfam last week. So, any bright ideas about how we get some spare wood to Althorne for that weekend? Anyone got access to old pallets or similar?

That would be fresh wood though wouldn't it - so therefore too damp? I will try a few local places on the industrial estate near home but still have to work out how to get the wood to the camp site.

So if anyone has a van/trailer etc I'm keen to hear about it. I'm sure it could be taken to the pub a few days in advance.

Will still burn

Pallets from the local industrial estate would be good - tho pine is VERY fast burning - so a mix of the two would be good,
