Well had an eventful morning.
popped some risers on .. good price for new product from e bay .. a seat I won on e bay by custom seats sits Mandy Higher than the Corbin we have so she can see over me.. yet to ride with it and see if it is comfier, practical, Ok for long journeys.. may be a case of keeping both seats for different purposes. Then (yes I know its summer ish nearly) to keep mandy's pinkies warm I had an idea of using Oxford wrap around heated grips on the pillion grab rail integrated in the top box rack.. tried to neatly do it and entailed a couple of drill holes in the rear fairing under the seat and a couple of cut aways.. all worked out quite well and neat and is hard wired in to the switch live so no little scrote can flick the switch on when we are parked.. just got to clean it all and we can test it tomoz.. watch it rain ! new seat seems a bit lower , which may be an issue as the corben is lower than standard - good for foot down and stability when static but cramps the legs a little when riding , so a lower seat still may be a step too far.. we see.. there are peg lowering kits available so we will see... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

You have been a busy boy! Best not look at my wiring jobs, the old contractors "bodget and scarper" get the blame
![]() Very tidy, really good idea for heated pillion handles! I hope we get a write up when you had road tested it all. |

Thought about heating mands seat you can get heated pads .. Thin there are enough wires connected to my loom and battery now though ...
Ok ... Mand loves the hand warmers .. Perfect she said .. In retrospect I am gonna have the single wire to the heating element not cable tied to the others then we can just lift the seat and unclip the connectors and take them off on a hot hot day ... But she said they also add comfort padding .. So we will see . Only £17 off e bay when usually 45 ... Seat ... Is ok but I think I prefer the corben thats a bit higher up .. Bar risers .. Wowee what a positive difference the make ... So much comfier to ride the bike .. I think that's all the mods I can do now to the bike ... Hmmmm. .. Unless .... ? |

I think this is the first time I've ever been jealous of a pillion - those heated pads look great and that seat looks rather inviting
