Default Lock away Youths...Discuss

Time for a lunchtime rant!

Took advantage of the nice weather last night and went for a bimble on the bike when I got home.
On the return I jumped on the A46 as I had ended up near Coventry and wanted to get away from there as soon as possible . Heading southbound towards Warwick noticed that there was a group of yoofs stood on the bridge where stonleigh road crosses the 46. Thought nothing of it, next news WHACK theres a big bang on my lid and something hits me in the chest as I go under the bridge. I Pulled into the hard sholder feeling a bit dazed and winded and theres a Rock/stone sat in my lap. Those utter T**Ts are throwing stuff off the bridge!!!

Now my question is this....what serious brain deficiency makes these yoofs think its a good idea to throw rocks off bridges at traffic doing 70mph! Leaving me with a sore chest and a chunk taken out of my lid. (which is sat on my desk at work infuraiting me more and more everytime I look at it)

They should all be tested and the ones that are found to be without a brain should be locked away for the good of humanity!

had a brick through the windscreen dropped from a bridge over the m62 in Salford. Just glad it didn't kill me.

Police said that it was regular. I said why don't you do something about it then.

Thats gotta be classed as attempted murder IMO.
Follow it up I would for sure, before someone does actually get killed.

Congrats on staying up right but god knows how you stayed calm after it.

Turn up tonight at the same time with some friends and throw the Youths off the bridge into/onto traffic?

I hope you reported this to the poilce and that you are replacing that lid ASAP.

Wouldn't fancy facing a brick, glad it wasn't anything like that size!

As my lid doesn't seem to be badly damaged in thinking it was a smaller one that hit my bonce than the one to my chest, was hoping to keep the lid (dare I say it) as it just seems to be a paint chip. Was going to try and find somewhere to take a look at it.

Wasnt so long ago someone dies after a paving slab or something hit them.

I dont understand why they cant simply put enclosures over the problem bridges.

That just treats the symptom, not the cause. Such idiots with a reckless disregard for other folks safety should be prosecuted harshly. Trouble is if even if plod did do something about it, caught them and successfully prosecuted them they would get very little in the way of punishment. Prison is a cushy number for these sort, they get regular food, taken care of and plenty of peeps around to teach them how to be better crims. Fines don't get paid and there is no such thing as public humiliation amongst their peers. They have nothing to lose, so current 'punishments' are not effective.

I'm with the beat em up brigade (or hang em / chair / lethal injection) - its the only language these idiots seem to understand. If they die then at least they won't cause any more trouble.
