Default Today is the day!

Well it's been a long time coming but today is finally the day that all of the hard work and planning pays off!

At around 9:30am I will sitting on board a plane about to take off to JFK! Then from there getting driven to Milford, PA to begin working for the next 10 weeks, followed by a bit of travelling for about a month!

Any suggests of what I simply can't miss over on the North-East side of USA?

Goodbye org, see you in a few months

I'm assuming you'll take the train down to Washington DC at some point. In which case the National Aerospace Museum should be high on your list.

Vietnam, Korean and naval memorials are great. Arlington is ok, makes you appreciate the scale of the deaths but for my money it's just a big grave yard so afternoons are better spent elsewhere.

Boston is good, NYC is not typical american. Internal flights used to be cheap, Vegas was good but if you are not a gambler then maybe a 4 day would do you - Hoover damn is about 1 hour, grand canyon about 4 by car.

If you have a car new England, new York state and North PA are scenic, look for PA grand canyon. Lancaster PA has the Amish...if you're into that thing although it's already been on TV so if you've seen that then there's not much else.

I lived in Delaware for 3 years and did a fair bit of the East coast (Boston down to Florida)

Pm bananaman, he's East Coast in the Appelacians.

Eat Lucky Charms, three times daily, for every meal.

Yep, done the work&travel experience. My advice is not to get into working too much, as you won't get to enjoy the summer. Have lots of fun and go on all the rollercoasters
