Default What to do with a dead cat...

So, your loved pet had died, what do you do?

Bury it at the bottom of the garden with some kind of memorial plant/headstone?

Have it cremated?

Turn it into a quadricopter?

Don't you just put it in a lead-lined box and start arguments with physicists?

I am not usually one to find You tube videos bad taste, but that one does it for me.

As I type this, my beloved Jasper is once again curled up with me, a place he has been since I got hurt at work eight weeks ago. When I was really hurting and could not sleep, he would lay on my lap and purr, which I found very comforting. I love my cat, he is loving, gentle and loyal.

I would not do something like this which desecrates his form. For me, he would go back to the earth and I know that I will cry at his passing. Just thinking about it upsets me.

Go and read this, you sick man.

Me neither - it really was a WTF moment when someone told me about this - the link in my OP above the video tells all about why.

I personally still dont get it

Oh dear, poor kitty I do hope that when he goes one of his friends turns him into a dyson or similar.

You need it to be alive for the arguments to kick off, otherwise the conclusion that it is dead is too easy to come to.

I get it, but I shall not push the point here. Incedentally that was his own cat, killed after it was ran over by a car. A bit more about orville, now orvillecopter.
