Default Honda CBR900 RRX Fireblade

Honda CBR900RRX Fireblade, 1999 model but registered in 2000. One of the very last carbed blades to roll off the line.

15935 miles (may increase slightly)
1 previous owner
12 months MOT, with brand new front tyre for the MOT
6 months road tax
Some service history
HPI clear

Sprint pro steering damper and billet mounting kit
Bagster Baglux leather tank cover (tank is like new underneath)
White powder coated wheels
R&G crash bobbins
Colour matched under tray
Powerbronze red tinted headlight protector
Flush mount indicators front and rear
Radial front brake master cylinder (Nissin)
Full rebuild of front and rear callipers with new seals and pads last year.
Goodrich stainless steel brake lines
Chain and sprockets about 3000 miles old, so in excellent condition

Includes original exhaust and indicators, screen, pillion seat, spare levers and a few other odds and sods

The bike is generally very tidy, but does have the odd blemish. The exhaust link pipe has a protector fitted that has been scuffed, and the upper fairing has been touched in on one corner by the previous owner. The MOT tester commented on what a nice bike it was.

Only selling due to my commuter bike needing replacement, so please no silly offers – I’d rather keep the Blade and commute on it than give her away.

Looking for £1800

Thanks for looking
Phil

Great, great bikes these - I'd have it off you in a second if I had the funds - good luck!

Thanks. I love her to bits but she isn't really suited to my100 miles motorway commute. my ZZR 600 is on it's last legs so i've bought an 1100 to replace her. Bank balance not looking so healthy now

Did ride her to work this morning and I'd forgotten just how fast these things are

my sv k5 has almost the same mileage so yours being 5 years more 'experienced' make it sound very tempting!

Good luck with the sale mate!

Beautiful! If i had £2000 id snatch.that in a instant. I prefer the colours and design on this than the Repsol most people have on their CBR.

Good luck on your sale!

Hmmm tempted. Do you know how these compare to the 929? Does this have the 16'' front wheel?

Having ridden both, these are the better of the two. I really didn't get on with the 929 I tried, and found the couple of these I tried much easier and nicer to ride.

I really wasn't kidding when I said if I had the funds, I'd snap this up!

I have ben looking at Fazers funnily enough. If I was looking for something of that value i'd be tempted, but I'm more looking in the £8-900 bracket for commuters. My ZZR set me back £900 and has given me 50,000 miles of use (and abuse!).
