Default Wiring Dominator headlights to K3?

Hey,

Was Wondering if someone could share some light!

I've installed some dominator headlights on my naked k3 but I'm not sure what to do with all the wiring? Any body got any suggestions because I don't want to leave the connector blocks exposed to the elements?

Thanks
Harry

I've fitted a number of these over the years, they aren't that good in standard form, and crazy the lens if you up rate the bulbs, however back to you question, an easy way is to get a small waterproof box from maplins or alike and attach that under the lights or my preference is to modify the front loop, then you can fit smaller connectors and put them inside the light itself.

Cheers Mark.

I binned the dominator wiring and made my own with spade crimps and black flex. Then hid the connections under the tank, in front of the air filter. Mine was a faired changed to a naked though so I wasn't bothered about chopping the loom.

The only thing is I don't want to chop up the original wiring loom except for indicators, with a black radio box where would I go about mounting it though?

As for hid's do you reckon their worth it? Could I mount them under the tank or would I need to take the air box off etc...?

Thanks
Harry

It wouldnt look neat with it in a box in my opinion. Where does the headlight connector come out on the naked loom? Couldnt you use the original connector to take the wiring back under the tank?

Yeh you would have to take the airbox out if you want to fit hid ballasts under there. I attached mine to the side of the airbox
