Unhappy Headlamp and nose cone pleaaasee :)

Previous owner of my 2009 sv650s had a slow front end shunt and has done terrible DIY repair work so ideally I want to replace the headlamp and nose since alot p the mountings etc are snapped and I get a lot of headlight wobble. Pretty sure it will fail and mot too. So I anyone has anything it would be greatly apriciated.
Thanks, Steve

What colour?

I have a nose cone which has a scuff on one side and I have a spray shop, maybe we could come to some arrangement?

I also have a couple of headlights that have minor damage, I think to the locator lugs only. They come with all the fixings to attach them to the front cowl so will be fine once fitted.

Regards

It's the black with the metallic blue flecks in it. And iv managed to bodge the headlight for now but ideally want one that's not going to bounce about for mot in April. Not sure if it makes any difference but mines the fully faired one. (New to sv650's) lol.
Thanks

Didn't know there was one with blue flecks in it, are you sure it is a standard colour? Pearl nebular black is the normal black colour.

The headlight wobbling shouldn't make it fail an MOT as long as it is aimed correctly as the bike doesn't mover during the headlight test!

Hmm well the blue metalic in it is very subtle and it does match the rest of the panels (non crash damaged ones) but I don't know if its had a full respray. Dosnt seem to have though. The reflector at the back of the headlight has snapped and is also wobbling. Not just the full unit. So will still need replacing some time soon. Sorry if I'm not being too much help.
Thanks, Steve

It's probably Pearl Nebular Black then. It'll be the pearly effect giving it a blue hue.

Ah...it may well fail on that. Take it to your MOT place and ask their advice.

I've asked the lad I got it from if he can remember the colour. But it is sounding like its this nebular black. I do still want to replace the headlap if I can find a half decent one at the right price.
Thanks,steve
