Default For all those in and around Wales

I have recently joined this forum having purchased a 2007 SV650S see http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=185576

We have been discussing in that thread about a ride out in Wales on either the 1st or 2nd November.

Now I have no idea about the best roads (having only passed my test a month ago) so have made a stab at the following route.

The start and end, I understand, has a decent burger van (breakfast) and I have driven past many a time to see loads of bikers there.

With the weather not being the best this time of year a fixed date will be confirmed closer to the time (weather dependent).

Let's say meet at 10am for now (for breakfast) and see if anyone fancies it.

That's a pretty decent route for starters. I'll put my name in for the 2nd (weather dependent).

2nd is a Friday isn't it? I think I have that day off, could come and join you if the weather is okay.

With regards to the route, you are missing out the A483 to Newtown which in my experience is the best road in mid Wales. Would be worth just going up it and straight back down.

I'll keep an eye on this thread and confirm nearer the date

Today? Out at 10ish. There'll be a few down at Abergavenny, good meet point if up for a mini rideout.

Fantastic day for it! Saw a few SV's (going the other way to me) and one of them was being ridden by a guy with a Blue Mohawk Helmet! Epic, almost 200 miles of riding and could have gone on all day. Lets hope we get some more weather like this.

Ok, so tomorrow is already upon us, the weather forecast looks reasonable, who is still available?

Runako can't make it, is anyone else around?

No problem if not, we can always set another date in the future.
