Hi and welcome, great bike, enjoy (but not too much, the new driver act is not a nice thing!)
If you fancy a meet up keep a look out for a thread, it's getting closer to the time of year for the March meat run. More will be revealed later but we end up doing a ride out meeting at Red Lodge and hitting some nice roads before stopping in a remote pub for a meat raffle...

Random thing I think, I am too new to the site to have experienced the first meat raffle, I think it was discovered per chance and is now a yearly fixture...it don't cost anything, just a coffee or 2 in the pub
If you look in some of the older threads in this section you may find previous march meat run threads...the route is normally very good edit: here you go, this is the normal route: http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=167725

Hi Pat if you're eager to get some miles under your belt, I'm usually up for a ride anytime, I'm less weather phobic than most and only 15 miles from Red Lodge if you fancy a rideout to anywhere just post a date and start time and if I'm not working I'm there! When the evenings get a bit lighter post work midweek bimbles to the coast are a must!

Dam riding clothes are hard to find for a 6 foot 7 guy lol, Finally bought some rst textile trousers and size 13/14 boots, must have tried on 10+ leathers to no avail - I guess us freaky long people arn't to wear leathers! |
