Default Delkevic 320 tri-oval can on Pointy?

Hi, i would just like to know if anyone has had any experience with the 320mm tri oval exhaust by delkevic mainly at MOT time and also is it stamped as road legal as its not stated "for" or "not for" road use on their website, as i am looking at this as a possibility to replace the naval battleship cannon currently hanging off the rear of my k3, i like the 225 ss oval but i think for looks alone the tri oval would suit the pointys lines better and i also value the use of my hearing.
so any opionions and ratings?

Cheers
Craig

I recently purchased the 225mm oval in CF and it is extremely loud. Garage said it would fail an MOT. Thankfully mine isn't due until next February. Probably a wise choise to go for the 320 if your concerned about noise level. Not that it will be quiet by any means

i think it may have been your thread that made me think to have a look at the delkevic cans, yer the 225 after seeing a youtube vid seems a bit antisocial (not that it isn't a sexy noise) for my liking, plus i don't want to have to buy a second can or keep the stock one just for the sake of MOT's. so i want the smallest and loudest i can get without having to sell a kidney or making every resident within a mile radius want to burn my bike.

Does the tri oval come with a removable baffle? That will help at MOT time. If you like the look of it though I'd say go for it. Good value and seem like decent quality.

Again i can't say for sure as there is nothing saying that it is definately included although it does say
"The baffle can be removed by means of a 6mm cap head stainless steel bolt." so i would guess it does but its the stamp that is my real issue as i live in a very police heavy area and i don't fancy being pulled over and given a fine for an illegal can.
Did your can have a baffle or stamp with it?

No baffle or hole to fit one on mine, but thankfully it's not stamped 'not for road use'. Can't imagine the 320 would be marked any differently.

lol your's will definitely not be police friendly then, well some pictures i found on google show some stamped and others not so im just really trying to confirm if the 320 for the sv will be or not. I would ring them directly and ask but they're closed until Monday.
I should learn to be patient really but its not one of my strength's :P

Hopefully someone on here may have one and can confirm. Failing that may as well wait till Monday and ring them as wouldn't be dispatched until then even if you ordered now. Better to make sure.

Yer thought I'd see if anyone has one but I think it'll probably be a lesson in patience for me.

I was told that an exhaust is down to mot testers descression, the book states no louder than average in normal conditions, which is a cop out! If its not marked race use only there should be no reason to fail it as it should only be tested at idle.
Same with number plates, unless it is obviously taking the p**s it should pass as the mot test kit does not include a ruler so they cannot say it is too small, if they do a quick phone call to vosa would result in the test station licence being revoked!

All the above info care of mot testers at a Suzuki garage!
