Hi all, im after a set of standard cam wheels (sprockets) for my '05 sv.
does anyone know if cam sprockets off a curvy will push on a pointy cam? Thanks, jay. |

The standard sprockets are an interference fit, so not generally removed from the cam shaft. I'd expect the curvy ones would fit, but don't remember anyone trying. We have, however seen people have issues when sprockets are put back onto cams slightly out of alignment, so be careful who you have fit the sprockets.
Personally I'd just look for another set of cams Jambo Sent from my thingie

Thanks Jambo,
Hoping someone will have some that they have taken off for adjustable ones. The old man builds race engines, hes got the cams and is putting a race profile on them, just haven't got any wheels for them. Hopefully someone will have some. Jay. |
