Default Hello

Good evening guys and girls

My name is Rob and I have recently brought a pointy SV. A little about myself, I previously had a CBF125 which I rode for 3 years, several months ago I passed my full test and got a lovely condition pointy SV.

Shes a 2004 plate with just under 10k miles. This weekend im planning to give her a full service and get a bit grubby with her. I know a few of the weaker points ie clutch kill switch and finish is there anything else that I should be looking for or preventative action.

Rob

Fender Extender that mofo, unless you plan on only doing dry miles. Obviously a new can as well, if you want to be down with the cool kids. Otherwise looks sweet.

Welcome btw.

Welcome Rob, where abouts in the UK are you then? Nice looking bike.

I would say don't try and undo any fastener, ever, to avoid skinned knuckles and turning the air blue when it invariably crumbles before your very eyes. Oh and stay away from the 'shiney down pipe' brigade

I live in Essex. Ive been outside all afternoon servicing the bike, a little miffed that the front spark plug wont come out. Does any one know of a spark plug socket that will fit as the toolkit one has got some play and the 16mm ive got is too fat??

I've got a Curvy (2000) and I bought this toolkit from Halfrauds

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...atalogId=10151

It has a 10mm spark plug socket that I found very useful.
