bus lane fine
super ####ed off
did my usual route, to work and got a 130 pound fine for driving in a bus lane in london. there is one bus lane in holborn that turns from bike friendly to non bike frienldy half way up the road. be careful out there people your usual routes into town could have changed like mine did. |

The markings for which bus lanes you can use and the timings are in my opinion stupid and borderline dangerous as you squint at every blue sign to see if you're about to get a fine.

Write to Boris. Explain that the changes in permissions are confusing. But open your letter by saying that he is a top bloke for instigating the opening up of bus lanes to us in the first place but that this particular section is a problem.

Bus lane? A lane for buses! How very big city
Wide roads round here they dig up to put flower beds in to reduce traffic capacity. It would cost a fortune to buy buses to block the road with.
