Default Front fork bushes, K3 on - the right stuff.

I had a job getting the right bushes for my K3. Not only do different people call them different things but two suppliers sent the wrong sizes. I suspect this is partly because these bushes, especially the slides, are not stock items.

In the end I got Suzuki OE ones but I thought the following info might help newbies:

Top/outer/guide bushes (these have the coating inside):
OE No 51152-17G00
No 10 on Haynes manual illustration
40.5 (inside diameter) x 15 x 2.5mm (Outside diameter 45.5mm)

Bottom/inner/slide bushes (these have the coating outside):
OE No 51121-42E00
No 5 on Haynes manual illustration
42 (outside diameter) x 20 x 1.5mm (Inside diameter 39mm)

NOTE: The above measurements were taken from new bushes. Worn top bushes may wear down to the stock 41x15x2mm size.

As with any public info, the above should be treated with caution until verified by a second, experienced member.

Default Re: FRONT SUSPENSION BUSHES K3 ON - the right stuff

As these are a linear bearing the sizes would nominally be id x od x length. Half a mil is a lot to lose on something like that.
