It's a fine balance between being loud and deafening.
I have just fitted a road legal stubby powertech in carbon fibre. It comes with a DB killer and so far I am very happy. http://www.powertech.uk.com/ Link to exhaust fitted on an SV650 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GP-PERFORM...item3a8222e03a I hope the links work |

On a mission to bump Fuel's profits!
I have a micro-mini Fuel can, i think it is lovely and loud but not too loud as to deafen or annoy too many people. Just the right balance between "oi get the F out the way" and "dont mind me" ![]()

admittedly somewhat dated information, but back 7-8 years ago Quill exhausts had that reputation.

I'll post it here as well, but here is a Fuel maxi stainless oval on my pointy. Nice without being mega loud. Makes people turn their heads!

Cheers guys, I just notice the title of this post has been changed from what I originally posted, what's that all about, I'm quiet fancying the fuel micromini, looks pretty, do fuel cans come with the option of high mounts.

No fuel dont do hi mounts but im sure an exhaust specialist could whip something up if you really really wanted it. Also check out the scorpion street extreme stubby, my mate who's an mot tester (an easy going one) said it was on the limit of passable noise wise on an 05 sv

If you want loud, then you won't find much louder than this (short of running with no silencer at all):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_iQZwx6Isk However,as said earlier there is a fine line between loud and deafening. This one is very close to being over the line into tinnitus causing territory ![]() Last edited by Pricey12; 26-06-13 at 02:41 PM. |

I have to say that a few years ago I got a viper can for my previous sv and when I cut the standard one off I went for a short ride down a farm drive belonging to a mate. . . The short of it was A MASSIVE GRIN!!!
It sounded and felt like being chased by a chieftain tank at full chat. |
